Since I don't speak spanish, I don't say queep like Buenas tardes, muchas gracias por su ayuda.
But I do try and not butcher the name of their facility. It's not hard to do when 9 out of 10 gringo pilots can correctly say "Merida."
But here's a hearty "up-yours" to all the @$$-clowns jumping on every mistaken transmission on guard today up and down the east coast. It's like they sit with their transmit-select on the guard radio so they can be the first ones to jump on the poor guy/gal who mistakenly transmits on guard.

I mean is it really that tough? There are only a handful of different aircraft types flying in the US, and we all see them constantly.
