When you are at the gate listing for a jumpseat/non-rev with the gate agent, and the passenger who can't just wait in line right behind you, but instead comes up right beside you and leans on the counter and eavesdrops on your conversation with the gate agent, and makes themselves a part of the conversation.

We learn how to stand in line in first grade tool.
