"Rainy Day Cynthia has the citizens of our proud city cowering in terror as 1/8 inch of rain gently settles on their lawns, and makes their newly-washed cars dirty again. Oh, the humanity."

If that's true, that low life deserves to be named Tool of the Century.

The FA last week on my flight from LAS to PHL that spent 5 minutes on the PA trying to sell us the airlines's credit card. You already charged me $25 for my bag, you want to sell me cheese spread and sesame snack sticks for $6.29 and now you're going to pitch me a credit card? What's next, are you going to try and get me to join your AMWAY pyramid?

Poor FA is just doing the job promulgated by their employer that makes their paycheck possible. They probably hate it more than you do. While at it! lets not forget the speech about the most generous frequent flyer program in the universe. More propaganda forced on the cabin crew to spout with the "Stepford Wives" smile.

Just plug I the ear buds and turn up the volume, and tune out, and enjoy the ride while sitting in seat 35B.

I always feel terrible for them when they have to do that. It's low-class and more than a little annoying in my book. IF people are interested, the info is readily available--no need for the sales pitch (including a walk through the cabin). I'm sure they don't like doing it as much as pax don't like hearing it.

Did you know they get $50 for every AmEx app that's filled out?

Some of them love to push it!

I've heard that. UGH, it's worse than a door-to-door salesman. At least you have a choice to not answer the door or slam it in their face! I don't like being a captive audience for someone hawking crap in an aluminum tube.
