Guys who don't listen on the radio.
Flying along in cruise. No fewer than 5 people check in on the radio. All are told the same thing- light to moderate chop at all altitudes.
The guy next to me picks up the mic- "any ride reports up ahead?"

Those don't check their audio control panal that commence their long winded speech whilst on Guard. They provide the rest of the world information about their flight from take off to landing, details of their shiny jet, and crew credentials.

Those guys are the MOST entertaining. I especially like it when they think they are calling their ops and someone says "go ahead" and then rogers their call.
ps: Every single pilot in the world has had a comm panel faux pas.
The tools start every radio call with the word "and" or key the mike without thinking about what they are going to say: "And center er ahh ummm..."

They were trying to reach dispatch, and someone was convincing enough on guard without interruption to make them think they had actually raised dispatch. Well, they go on this long diatribe about a concerned passenger in distress along with all their data. (that's why it could have been bad had it been some sort of real medical emergency)
The moment he released the mic, all the butthurt guard nazi's exploded.... they couldn't handle it. That went on for a minute or so.
Then cue all the guard nazi trolls poking at the butthurt guard nazi's. That lasted another couple minutes.
Speaking of- does UAL have strange comm panels or something with regard to selecting the PA? I've heard more UA PAs on guard than any other carrier. Later on that same flight I heard one as well.
