Okay I'm a tool.
On one long trip, we ended up with a weird conversation along these lines.

Upon turning 21, you get a government card that authorizes you to kill someone ONCE in your life, without penalty.

Imagine how polite we'd suddenly become. You'd never know if the guy you just cut off in traffic hasn't used his "ticket" yet.

TOTD to me for even posting such weirdness. It's like cockpit conversations of UFO's, 9/11, and "How much $$ would it take for you to cut off one finger?"

Depends on who's finger and if they would pay me more not to cut it off.

Hey Boss, do you mind not clipping your finger nails and then using an emory board to smooth them? Saw this recently...yuck.

Tool ATL Delta gate agent wearing a backwards beanie hat giving our entire crew attitude about grabbing lunch with an hour to go until block out. Relax man, you'll live longer! And kill the beanie, it looks like you're wearing an abortion on your head.

^^ Food is a safety of flight item. If the company hasn't catered a meal, then we are going to get something to eat between legs, and we'll block out when we are ready.

This guy should experience life as an Army Aviator. In my 27 years we have had our "pickle suits" taken away three times. Each time the time tested and coveted "pickle suit" has been replaced by something far inferior. This last time the Infanty branch got smart and made it permanent. Now we are stuck with a nomex suit that looks like Army ACU's. None of the pockets are useful for pilot duties and don't even get me started on the pen pockets.

My nomination for the tool of the day is the designer. Or me, for even piping up. Do we get a placque? Will it go good on my " I love me wall?"
