All praise, honor, and glory to CPDLC... HF is WW2 tech that I am amazed we still use. Guess it's jobs.

Count the number of ways our position can be determined besides HF, and the huge number of satellites zipping overhead, yet there we are, competing with two dozen other fools on 7.818 or whatever, to get the attention of a dude in a shack with a mike and a yagi antenna every 10 degrees. :rolleyes:

Serious question for those who balk at FAs who hold up the line going through their bags for ID, etc. Why don't you just say, "excuse me" and go in front of them? I've never used KCM but have either gone in front of others after excusing myself OR told others to go ahead of me if I was the slow one on regular TSA or crew lines. :confused:

Because no one wants to witness firestorm a move like that would create.
