Either way, 1 of us gets the award for today.

Lemme guess...American? They haven't embraced the whole gate check concept that we had at LUS (or much of anything else we had at LUS).

There's a tiny gap offshore to the left, and how high were the tops?

In my Cirrus I have a parachute so I'd feel comfortable trying it. (/sarcasm)

Tops at FL550. A solid updraft could help me top it!

I am not sure if it is TOTD thread worthy, but the American pilot coming into Anchorage who kept pestering approach for a short approach. Finally approach came back and said it would be a 10 mile final. The pilot said that we would have done a two mile final.

" I can keep it real tight for you." Actual quote.
