I retired after 20 years in sales with Fedex and 7 years with Flying Tigers. I have a private pilots license. My Dad was a Captain with Flying Tigers.

Default Introduction of self

I am a Capt (If I can so claim) on a C208 (Cessna Caravan) flying part 91. I also fly occasionally right seat on a BE20 (King Air 200) and try to log a few hours doing that when I'm allowed to take the controls.

I previously flew for Comair Airlines but was laid off due to the economy in 2008. Prior to that I also flew freight in a C208 for airborne express and Fedex as well as a Seneca for a medical transport company. I have about 7000 hours total with about 3000 multi time. 2000 turbine time and about 300 ME turbine time from the King air.

I have certification for the C208 from Pan Am flight academy and a Type rating on the CL-65 (Bombardier CRJ200). I am debating personally paying for the certification on the King air 200 to find a more stable, better paying job, if any still exist.

My current flying job is not very demanding. I make about 1 trip a week of about 350 miles each way. Sometimes it's 2. My pay suffers from such small amounts of work as well. Since getting married I had to take on a second job and It's not what I enjoy. I need to find a better aviation job soon, or I may lose my mind.

Currently dropping skydivers in Vegas in the 206. Have flown the 208 in Alaska, the Twin Otter in the Grand Canyon. About 850 hours total right now. Looking to get with Delta ultimately.
