Hello everyone, I'm a Private Pilot that lives in Key West, FL. Dec 4, 2012 I finally went legit to the FAA standards and gained my certificate. I currently have just 106.4 hours logged, and that has happened in a Cessna 172s, and a 206. I do not own an airplane as I rent from the local FBO. I have 2 years left until I retire from my government job, then I am making the move towards ATP.
I started out at the age of 17 in aviation as a mechanic for 10 years working the line, and performing duties as a structural/hydraulics mechanic. At that point I moved into the Non-Destructive Technician field where I have worked for the past 7 years. During this time I completed my A.S. degree in General Aviation, and moved on to complete my B.S. in Professional Aeronautics with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
If any of you can offer the opportunity for me to save some time, and $$ on making the career move towards ATP, please feel free to throw it my direction whether it be here on the forums, facebook, cell phone, email.. FLY IN, etc... It will always be appreciated.

Hello folks! Santi here. Just recently left the army as a 15 year medic Following my dreams of flying using the 911 gi bill and begin the miami dade college associates in science pro pilot program next month! Super excited. I plan on instructing to build time most likely at Wayman aviation. They are contracted with mdc to teach the flying part and hire mdc students as instructors upon completion. Once I am done I will fly anything to get my foot in the door. Even a "plane full of rubber dog**** out of hong kong" =)
