Hi everyone. I'm a C-17 guy with some Learjet time. I will be exiting active duty this coming May to join the civilian world for the first time. Pretty excited to stop deploying.

Welcome. Get ready to be a career student...one of the fun things about aviation as you go...it requires us to learn and relearn to stay sharp. I'm learning my 6th airplane in 12 years.

I agree...I was told this website polices itself well enough without adding steps. Maybe they are trying to find users that will not log on ever and delete accounts? I don't know.

Is it true there are no more AF students going thru Navy training? I went thru in 2003 and had a blast. Plus training was way better designed than the rigid AF training.

I'm at Higher Power right now getting my 737 type and they said the regionals are in a hiring frenzy since they can't hold onto pilots...surprise...if they want to keep pilots, the incentive has to be good enough. Get your time and then get into a major...shouldn't take too long with the hiring trends on the horizon.

Congrats! U hit it just in time...hundreds right behind you. So u should build seniority quick enough where the first years won't hurt as much.
