Hello, I am currently a student pilot with commercial airline aspirations. I have 25 hrs logged so far and my instructor doesn't think I'll need much more than the 35 hrs for a Part 141 Private License

Here's to following the dream.

It's a blast once you start lessons! Nothing like it

Reading through these forums from pilots who have years of experience, not only in their field, but on how that advanced to that field, is something I look forward to very much.

Right there with you my friend. A long journey, but I'm trading my desk job for love.

Navy primary is paradise compared to AF SUPT. I'd rather do 12 months of SERE than 12 weeks of SUPT phase 2. Standups are like vertical waterboarding.

I agree with Southpaw301. I am AF and trained with the Navy in 2003 as well in Corpus Christi. Loved it and they are the best memories of pilot training compared to AETC at Vance.
