C-17 Instructor/Evaluator w/the USAF, also CFII-ME ATP in my own life. Flown a lot of GA, about 7,000 hrs total mil & civil and getting ready to retire w/the mil and get hired by a part 121 operation. Started my first flying lessons in 1987 and haven't stopped yet. 5 military assignments in a row of operational jet experience while owning my own plane and staying up to speed in the civil world too.

I'm in the process of creating a curriculum for Alaskan high school students, using Alaska-specific materials to practice proficiency in reading/writing, listening/speaking, and critical thinking. I am working on a lesson on Alaskan aviation history (focusing on individuals, events, and the significance of aviation in Alaska's history), and came across this forum. Having scanned a couple of threads, I thought it might be a good idea to get some input from you all on resources/subtopics/individuals who I should consider.

Thanks-a-bunch,
-Daniel
