That assumes that just half of the population is responsible for all the bad things and gives a pass to the other half. Not likely, the social order is derived from many things but the worst of it can be blamed on the many and the best of it is the work of a few.

Quite true, it is a surprise that anyone can find any value at all in the rubbish heap of TV.

Yup, because any rich, ugly, fat and balding and possibly old fool really doesn't think he gets a hot (young enough to be his daughter) wife for any reason other than his wallet, does he? God forbid he should find a woman who isn't a trophy and possibly loves him for well, him.....

Are you angry/bitter with men? Some of your posts seem to indicate that.

I know more than one guy that had women after him because they all thought he was "good looking", yet his wife could be considered "average" Could it be because he likes her, for well, her?

Just like in the Petreaus thread, you're stereotyping. It's a 2 way street, deal with it.

First of all, I think it was you who totally misread my post on Petraeus and assumed I was railing on him when I stated something to the effect of "I'm sure it wasn't their first rodeo" when I was referring to the females involved.

Secondly, if you knew me you'd laugh your ass off at your first statement and how totally off-base it is.

Yes there are successful wealthy men who married average looking women. Surely you can't deny many of them dump them and marry some trophy golddigger when they hit it big.

Doubtful, you can't seem to figure men out, as you admitted previous.

And surely you can't deny that women are married to men that treat them well, yet can't provide them with the "lifestyle" they want. And leave them for one that can. Even if that man doesn't treat them as well as the previous.

Like I said, it's a 2 way street, deal with it.

So, since I sometimes can't figure them out I don't like them and aren't physically attracted to them?? Yeah, that makes total sense.....If you're trying to portray me as a man-hater or lesbian-you're further off-base than I originally thought.

I have no idea how old you are, but I'm guessing late 20's to 30's....This is why you're having so much difficulty.

Oh, I get it---women leave their good hubbies for someone with more money. Yup..they do....it sucks.
In your little world, do husbands leave great, loving wives who maybe have gained a few pounds (never mind that the husbands did as well, as well as probably lost some hair, went gray, etc.) for women who are more sexually liberated and help them through their mid-life crisis??

Congratulations!!!!!!!! You're FINALLY getting it!!!!!!!!!

Both males AND females are guilty doing foolish things as it relates to gender relations.

Welcome to a soon to be over 2012, and a world where women are, and having been doing the SAME things men have done.

Sorry, but I've NEVER given women a pass. Many women disgust me. However, just for record, men have been screwing women over for a lot longer than the other way around. Womens lib movement probably the reason for that....women who had to stay in crappy relationships with cheating spouses since they had no economic options can now leave any time they want.

Why do my instincts tell me a woman dumped you for economic reasons.......

Money can buy many things, and people sell many things when the buyer and seller reach an agreement both consider fair.

True, but I think some of the players actually foolishly believe they are loved for something other than the size of their wallet.
