Well, where it gets intellectually challenging is.... is one persons freedom more important than another.... or should one person's freedom be lowered so another person's can be raised?

No challenge at all, when you coerce or constrain the person or property of another-you limit freedom. Most of man's problems can be easily traced to breaking this rule.

That is because coercion is a requirement for control, no human is going to willingly be controlled in his person or property without proper and just reward for such action.

Why me? Am I trying to limit your freedom? Why that attitude?
However, if the govt wants to disarm you, for a lesson in reality... try and keep your arms... or your life.

cute.

So again, it is requested you define freedom....
I said it already, and I wasn't suggesting YOU attempt to disarm me or anyone else. The invitation was in general, the response will be specific.

As far as Americans of any sort being detained in any fashion I am vehemently opposed to it. Again, I direct you to the Constitution, I don't understand why this is rocket science for you.

Well, challenging for some....

will coercion be a constant in man? If not, what would a society be like without coercion.....

Good question, since it has never been tried we don't know the answer. I would certainly see it as a very worthy goal.

You're right to vocally belittle our Constitution however is guaranteed by that very same document.

I love it when people wrap themselves in the Constitution but don't have a clue about what they're quoting.

my right to free speech? Even that is compromised.... but in ways you don't seem to understand... rather in the context you are seem to be referring to... it doesn't apply here...

only the govt ensures free speech or cannot not silence it. The govt has no domain on APC... I can say what I choose... in addition you can go into Wal Mart and spew anti corporate rhetoric and be strong armed by security... again, not the govt's domain...

However, recently at the Inauguration, Free Speech zones were set up far away from the parade route so protesters were effectively silence....

You seem to have a pre-conditioned, almost religious understanding of the Constitution.... certainly not a real political application of it...
