Gulfstream Girl

A friend of a friend, stumbled into a G-IV with <800 TT. Heck, on a ramp of corporate aircraft, he couldn't have even pointed out what a G-IV was until he showed up to training.
A college roommate of mine landed a gig flying the Global making RIDICULOUS $$$ because he ended up on a bar stool next to the right person. Same thing, he hadn't even heard of a Global until that night.
Do we even know if she slept with someone? The boss may be just a creep and like having a decent looking girl around the office. She'll be in the right seat acquiring tons of experience, for quite some time. Even when she upgrades, she'll most likely be flying with a co-captain with tons of experience. I say good on her for taking advantage of an opportunity. If she slept her way to a job...that's her decision. That's life, bashing her or whining about it isn't going to do anyone any good. We live in a world of "fairness," she may have just been hired for demographics. It wouldn't be the first time a woman/minority have been hired that wasn't the best candidate. Sucks, but oh well...play the hand you're dealt.
Better lucky than good.

Funny....if a guy like Rush Limbaugh said something like this about a woman, the PC femi-nazi crowd would be all over him calling him a sexist pig for talking about a woman that way.
Gotta love the double-standards of the uber-hypocritical PC crowd.

GG is somewhat popular fodder on another website I visit.
I don't blame her for taking advantage of the opportunity to get the experience she is in a G-whizzer; I'd have done so myself had the opportunity presented itself. I don't necessarily think she has the experience to really fulfill the expectations of the position, but I can't fault her for accepting it.
Without respect to how she may or may not have gotten her current position, the thing that sort of irks me is she subtly but consistently presents herself as a Gulfstream captain. Perhaps I'm just getting more curmudgeon-y as I get older, but Nadia: You aren't a Gulfstream captain, please quit promoting yourself as if you are - you'd find you would gain a lot more respect if you'd just come across honestly as someone who is very fortunate to have ended up in the right seat of a large cabin jet with a wet commercial certificate.

The company that hired her must feel they are being fairly compensated for the higher insurance costs of a very low time pilot.
Perhaps they consider it a bargain they can write off.
