Default Consolidated Acronym List

In reading the forum, I have noticed tons and tons of specific acronyms for the airline industry. Most of these are aviation standard, but a lot are not.

I was thinking we could start a list. It might be useful to someone...

CHQ = Chautauqua
FO = First Officer

_CU - _____ Control Unit (eg. Fuel Control Unit, Electrical Control Unit, etc.): A device that does something that a flight engineer once did. "Modern" pilots only need to know it is PFM (Pure F-ng Magic). Sometimes excessively referenced by anal retentive check airmen to prove their "unit" is larger than yours.

Mod Note:

You boys make me want to (need to) jump back into the hot springs here in Thermopolis. It's certainly more relaxing and fun than rooting out more **** posts.
