This should come with a free giant roll of extra heavy duty broiler foil because a regular tinfoil hat just won't cut it in this case.
It is also about 1,000 years too late.

People should be asking more questions about whats going on around them. Ie. Why are we shipping weapons to Al Queda in Syria, why is there so much coverage of the Zimmerman Trial, why is Christianity demonized while Islam protected in the US? etc...

People love to think there is some vast intelligent and organized force working against them-it helps them feel better about their own failures. Most of us just need to look in the mirror to see the real threat.
If you have ever worked in a large organization tasked with a set of rather ill defined goals you will quickly understand the human shortcomings when it comes to controlling human behavior. It can't be done, but the herd will quickly run off the cliff called idiocy at the slightest provocation.
History, for as long as it has been written is rife with examples of groups of humans trying to control others, they all end in tragedy but the most important element has been the willingness of everyone involved to think their direction is correct. Except of course those at the butt end of the violence.
We have only seen progress when people are free to choose without coercion.
The only real plan for the future is a continuation of the past.

I personally don't agree with everything in the State of Mind film, but it got my attention when I saw the former head of the US Department of Education talking about why public schools have declined.
If you want to know why we have to hear so much about Zimmerman, Gun Control and the War of Terrorism than this movie may be for you.
Global GDP is not evenly spread across everyone in the world.
40% of the wealth in the United States is held by 1% of the US population — Wealth Distribution in the USA - SHOCKING! - YouTube (sources are at 6:20).

Read some history and learn what you think are new ideas have been around for centuries as have people asking more questions about the world. Of course you don't get much of that on tv.
