Default TEB to MidTown Manhattan Via Public Transport

What is the best way via public transportation from KTEB - or the nearby hotels - to MidTown Manhattan? (And back again.) And approx how long should it take? Thanks! (I thought this was discussed here before, but if so, I could not find it.)

I've only done it by car service--about 25 minutes on a good day. Cab will work. From the Teaneck Marriott, it's a less than an hour from the nearby bus stop to Penn Station.

Google Maps is your friend, from Moonachie St stop, near Jet, it's 42 minutes to PA Bus station.

I apologize, I should've been more specific. I am looking for a less expensive way than a car service or taxi. Really looking for the train route from close by TEB into mid town Manhattan, don't want to take a bus. Anyone familiar with that?

Nope. Bus is best option. There's a bus stop out front of the Renaissance that'll take you down there. Not sure which bus it is or the price but it's prob less than $10 each way. If that doesn't work, use uberX.

Buses are the cheapest. $5 one way.

Takes 30' one way.

Drop off is 42 st bus authority terminal. From there you can walk to Times Square or subway to pretty much anywhere...

Find a subway map online. Subway is easy to use and safe with cops often present.

Ask the hotel for nerest bus station and bus number...

However, we did stay at an embassy in the meadowlands that had a 4.00 bus at the front door. It was an easy ride but was also the weekend.
