• The Holy Bible. You'd be surprised how many 121 pilots aren't familiar with the Word of God; it's my duty to enlighten them.
• 4 cans Cheez Whiz
Absolutely Hilarious! !!

Actually, I don't talk like that, but I do write like that apparently. This is legit, I assure you. Lots of good suggestions...much appreciation to all posters, past and future. The power strip thing is brilliant. The hotel I was last in for training seemingly had one outlet in each room, conveniently located behind the bureau with the tv on it.

And of course, anybody traveling without a Bible and Cheez Wiz is practically throwing themselves at the mercy of the duty-free pirate-merchants.

Question

Don't mind the haters. Feel free to ask your honest questions. It helps not only you, but others who come here seeking knowledge, but are afraid to ask because of the animosity certain posters bring to the forum.

-Anker PowerPort6
Uses a single plug, charges 6 things.

-Teavana Portable
I don't know the official name and a lazy Google doesn't show it. But it's got two canisters for loose tea and a stainless strainer.

-Single serving drink powder
Find whatever you prefer in the sports drink aisle - low cal, no sugar, whatever your priority. Every once in awhile it's nice to have some flavored water. You just dump the packet in the bottle and shake. Be wary of increased staining potential.

-Books
I try to keep one fun book and one industry related book on hand to read between flights or at boring overnights.

-Aviator's Quick Refenerence Map of the US
I don't make cheesy announcements about what we're flying over, but sometimes you start wondering what river that is, or what city, etc. Mine was given to me by a retiring captain and I don't think they're cheap, but it is heavily laminated and fun for gee-whiz knowledge every once in awhile.

-Bathing suit.
Because ya never know.

I don't pack drink powder because my company always provides free Kool-Aid.
