So if a manager from Company A talks to manager from Company B about their strategies do they both still go to jail?

The unions can still hire consultants though right?

We wouldn't want a level playing field.

Did you read the article? Companies can still hire consultants, but they have to disclose such arrangements.

I did read the article and it doesn't say anything about the Union's requirement to disclose the hiring of a consultant nor does it address any of the other 12 aces stacked in the deck for labor organizations.

Organized labor isn't in decline due to the evils of management. It's in decline due to the corruption of inherent to itself. Don't believe me, stroll the employee parking lots at Xjet and look at the make & condition of the cars. Then, take a short hop over to the unions offices and count the new German cars.

It might not have said it, but anyone who has a clue about labor is familiar with the union LM-2, LM-30... union reporting requirements that are far more transparent than any corporate disclosures even after the Obama Administration moderated the draconian Bush Administration rules.

Please tell us all about these '12 aces' labor enjoys. I need a good laugh this morning.

That is 100% accurate.

That is an absurd meme generated by corporations and their right wing surrogates. Income disparity hasn't been this extreme since the roaring 20's, we just witnessed the greatest larceny (global economic crisis) in history by bankers et al and some want to focus on the almost non-existent issue of union corruption? It reminds me of the non-existent issue of voter fraud.

It appears we have some management shills in our midst here on APC.

No, it really isn't.

And I say that as a labor supporter who is all too aware of how grossly US corp. executives have abdicated their obligations and responsibilities to their employees.

But yet you choose to focus on a relatively non-existent problem? Labor supporter? Hmmm.

Actually, it is rampant and wide-spread. Corruption within labor mgmt ranks is a well-known and long-standing issue.

Stop trying to minimize it. Makes you no different than those who would minimize corp. mgmt sleaziness.
