I discovered that he is a friend of a friend. The kid has a genius sense of humor and is not one to be bullied. Heard he is a really good stick. He lacks good judgement with social media however, or more accurately, does not care.

If that is the case, it was lost in translation I guess. To me, he reeked of the stereotypical millennial 121 pilot who thinks they deserve to be at mainline because they are better than every captain they fly with. His "humor" seemed to be based on putting down everyone who didn't agree to his particular life values. In my experience, pointing out flaws in your peers and assuming you are qualified to mentor all aspiring 121 pilots when you are only 1 rung of the ladder above them isn't the best approach to a career as a pilot.
