Really?
You now speak for the majority of passengers in the U.S.? Did you head up a Gallup poll? Give me a break. Stating opinions is one thing, but now you just sound like someone I'd definitely prefer not to fly with.

I've seen some bad arguments on both sides in the ridiculous thread, but this takes the cake.

I'd rather see a pilot with a neat beard than fat slobs with 20 old fat stews in trail through the terminal. A beard detracts nothing from a professional appearance, but being obese with an untailored uniform does! Enforce weight proportion to height or bmi standards, not getting spooled up about some facial hair!
Bears are one thing, either like them or not. Your hatred for pilots and FAs who don't meet your standard of BMI and age is pretty nasty.

I could care less... I was just pointing out how ridiculous it was to say beards are unprofessional vs what almighty said looked like in Shanghai. The point is... Life is too short to get jacked up about all this...

Hey genius, HKG is Hong Kong, not Shanghai. "Been out of the US much"?

Wow i guess we will find anything to argue about on this forum. Why are all you getting so bent out of shape about a beard thread?

I personally think beards should be allowed as long as it is grown professionally. A lot of men can look very professionally with one. I personally think it's a carry over from the military days.
While we are at it, I would also love to get rid of the tide on a short sleeve shirt. I think Virgin has it right.
