One 4 day I flew had 2 days of inter island flying. 165 was the lowest number. Another trip had 110 as the lowest. With the fares so low, the flights would show 30-40 open the day prior and full the next day. People can buy the tickets and if they don’t need to go, simply cancel and the credit is good for a year with no penalty. We’re seeing high numbers of this happening.
Only 4 flights, but here’s the loads for Friday HNL to KOA.

Wow, high loads. What about a non-holiday weekday. Let’s say Sep 4th or 11th?

Our flights to KOA at the same departure times as yours (usually 2 flights to your 1) are either oversold or showing 2-3 seat avail. The other 19 flights are mostly full, except for maybe the 5:30am flight..... BTW Fridays are always full.
Congrats on selling a last minute seat for $39.. should keep the route real profitable. It's actually quite telling that a day before, your planes are not going out even close to full, and need a $39 fare to sell the seat.
If your ever traveling inter island your welcome to the jumpseat anytime.

Second, can't believe you took my line without giving credit. Weak. And I've been on Hawaiian jumpseat..the CA ate half of my sunflower seeds..ranch flavor as well. Rude
