[QUOTE=5and20;3016056]Haha I have a degree in finance and worked for a large corporation in their external financial reporting department - during a chapter 11 restructuring. I know EXACTLY how bankruptcies work. Hawaiian’s gonna feel the pain, but we’ll be alright.

Hawaiian and Southwest both need to stop bringing people to Hawaii. Your airlines greed, shortsightedness and determination to run each other out of business is going to kill a bunch of people. Respect the governors plea for a visitor ban before Waikiki is turned into another Chernobyl. If that happens, it will be the fault of the airlines, predominantly Hawaiian and Southwest who have not reduced their capacity as much as the majors.
We can all go back to beating the crap out of each other after all this is over. Please respect the visitor ban before people begin dying unnecessarily.

[QUOTE=5and20;3016834]haha your last couple posts actually made me laugh out loud. So thanks for that. You went back 13 years into my comments, eh? Committed effort. I glanced back through some of your trolling. Widespread, but mediocre at best buddy. Keep at it, you’ll get better in time. But that’s a long ways out. Still mostly ignorant garbage. But like I said, good for an occasional laugh.

You should laugh at yourself, when you boast about you financial experience and it turns out you spent less than 6 months in a junior position, just out of college. In reality your knowledge of bankruptcy laws goes no further than you personal experiences of trying to walk away from your own debts and living outside your means.

Just spoke to a few in management and it sounds like they are pretty confident with our recovery plan. Expect initial recovery to be around 70-80% of our February schedule building back to full capacity within 4-6 months after.
Stay positive guys and gals. This is a crap year but 2021 should bring some great opportunities... stay tuned.

We may even be stronger depending on other airlines capacity plans for Hawaii during the year or two recovery...
