As far as aircraft options, we have 2 open positions on 330 pax, 12 on 321 and 13 on the 717. Nothing open on freight or 787. Most likely going forward you could probably expect to start either 321 or 717 unless you start in the next class and have a low social security number.

I haven't heard how many are left in the hiring pool, only that they seem to beleive they will empty it by this summer, at which point Alaska will put a posting out for new positions at Hawaiian. You would apply through the Alaska hiring portal and be hired by Alaska to maybe end up in HNL with one of our aircraft.

In the last flight ops call they mentioned that once the pool is empty the application window would be opened via Alaska airlines whirling portal. Initially they will ask what side of the operation you want to be hired into. The options will be Alaska, Hawaiian, or earliest class available. How long they do that for is unknown, but I would guess until end of 2025.
Unless we get more freighters, probably near zero. With the exception of people bidding off freight to come back to the passenger side there won't be any movement as it's pretty much fully staffed for the 10 airplanes.
