Here's the info from the sticky...

If you're having display issues, these are some tips which can help...

1. Clear all related cookies: "airlinepilotforums"; "airlinepilotcentral"

2. Ad Blockers will sometimes block website components in addition to ads.

3. Try changing Forum Skins: User CP / Settings & Options / Edit Options => scroll to the bottom and look at the "Forum Skins" drop down. You can try different options. I like these:

- ClassicNextGen Styles / Default

- Standard Styles / Default Style
-- This one is the old-style classic view but some posting functionality will be missing, use the one above to access full functionality.

Clearing cookies worked.

I had zero access to my user CP before that.

True of a lot of organizations Especially in a military context if you don't "change" something to "improve it" then you can't claim it on your appraisal or evaluation. Whether or not it is actually an improvement is beside the point.

IB manages a LOT of websites and forums. They do need consistency across those for ease of mx and support (economy of scale).

If the rest of the world wants their forums to look and behave a certain way (ie like an iphone app) then we're probably getting dragged along for the ride. At least they gave us some skin options.

Like I said in a thread I made before, technical debt will bite you in the ass. I think its time we move on from vBulletin and go to XenForo 2 or IP.Board
