For Safari on IPad
>Settings>Safari>Block pop-ups

Worked for me.

Pop ups are not supposed to be on APC at all.

Can anyone find the name or URL of the ad (if you are still seeing it) and send it to me?

If you are logged in, using Safari on an iThing, no popups. If logged out, certain words get underlined and annoying popups that block the thread. Is this an iBeacon thing?

I tried what radials said regarding ipad/safari but no help.

The popup I see tonight is "Simply Being, the meditation Oasis."

It doesn't stay on long enough to see a URL.

Theyhover over the annoying underlined/hyperlinked "key words." no idea why certain words do that.

Happens both logged-in, and not.

Ironically, the popup claimed to be a source of relaxation.

Then why am I so tense and angry?

I downloaded AdBlock Plus and it stopped them. It stopped all advertising to the site as well. Not good for legit APC sponsors though.

If I could get a screenshot of the ad that would help as well, but knowing the name might help.

Please PM me any more information so I can have the ads blocked.

Thanks!

Is anyone getting these in the lower right hand portion of your screen? Pops up for any APC page I view...only happens on APC though.
Google Chrome on Windows Vista.

Thanks for that screenshot. I'll notify our ad network operator.

I get a lot of these all over, not just in the bottom corner.

I noticed that certain select but seemingly random words are in a hyperlink and when you scroll down to a place that is close to one of these, a specific and clearly intentional and targeted pop up ad appears.

Looked at this thread, then got AAPUA (An Annoying Pop-Up Ad).

Poshmark, buy and sell fashions.

Using an ipad.

And now, Vonage!
