Honestly, the sun is shining. Please, for your own good, and for the good of your brethren, take a break. Your posts are providing no benefit to this pilot group, only detracting from the efforts of your union brothers and sisters.
This is only a kind request, not an attempt to silence you or otherwise keep you from speaking. I simply ask you to look to see what your actions are doing to help our work toward a new CBA.

If you are going to quote me, at least don't pick apart my quotes and take them out of context. When I asked how do you know, I supplemented that by saying that ATSG would probably be quite adept in keeping a crew from using paperwork or any other mechanism that could construed as an instrument of liability......but go ahead just spin it your way.
I had an honest question and you turned it into a me vs you thread. And instead of answering, you just deflect and attack. You look like a fool for taking offense for something said by someone to whom you could just completely ignore. But just for the sake of argument, please enlighten me oh wise sage, where in any of my hypothetical questioning did I not get the facts straight?
And fyi obi wan kenobi, you have NEVER been nor will you EVER be in my shoes. To make such pompous and arrogant statements is just a testament to your ignorance in the industry as well because you offer no history or context but rather just self righteous indignation.
I respectfully disagree with anyone that believes that what I write, or anyone for that matter, on a third party web forum has any bearing whatsoever on our contractual negotiations.
What is the big deal? It is just hypothetical questions. NO harm is meant or implied so just take it with a grain of salt and ignore it if you don't like it, otherwise, I will respond.

Actually, Dave, some posts from this very thread were used against the union during in the law suit that Atlas filed against our union.
More to the point, some of those quoted posts that the Atlas lawyers used were direct responses to statements that you made defending the company.
So it may be smart for you to open your eyes and shut your mouth when it comes to deciding what helps the union and our efforts to secure a better contract.
While I am an avid supporter, I am not an officer of, nor do I take direction from any union officers; all of my opinions come from me and me alone.
I know that there are some very experienced people on our union negotiating team. Our negotiating team, along with some very experienced lawyers have made well thought out decisions about how to approach our negotiations under very difficult circumstances with a very weak contract from which to work.
They have a plan. Most of us are on board.
So... if you so adamantly oppose their approach, what is your plan?? Do you actually have one or is your plan simply to shout at any Atlas pilot who voices a negative opinion about the working conditions here?

uh....this is not what I had in mind for this thread but thanks any way to all for the best wishes. And thanks to those that gave me the PM's for the referrals. I have applied to Atlas. I can see through all of this static. See you on the line. If for some reason one of the charter outfits calls first then god bless and good luck.

Has anyone had a similar experience?
I applied and was offered an interview in NYC early last year. I came down with the flu and had to reschedule it. During that time, I began digging into my training contract with my current employer. Long story short, I decided to complete my training contract as I originally agreed.
Since that time, I have kept my application updated and I'm nearing the end of my training contract. I've sent several emails to the HR rep's who contacted me about the initial interview. So far, I have received no response from them over the past 7 months. I explained my situation in each of the 4-5 emails that I sent to HR. Additionally, I've had one internal LOR sent. Still nothing.
Any advice? (Other than applying elsewhere comments)
