So have you found anything yet? I'm workin on the CFI, and plan on putting in my time back where i spent all my money. It will be a great learning experience, i'm excited about teaching for a little while at least. I know it's not my goal in life but a steping stone, and it should be a good one. The CFI checkride is going to eat me alive.

This industry is all sorts of messed up and I think I might almost be better off selling my soul to the devil... Check that, I already went to WMU. Nuff Said.
What do you mean you already went to WMU? The initial ride is hard i give you that...atp is an easier checkride but at that point you do have at least 1500 hours so they figure you might no a little more about aviation at that point

I find WMU to be a cesspool of people drooling over the glass cockpit in the Cirrus. That sounds harsh, but it's the honest to goodness truth. I left the flight program there after my first year because I had gotten my PPL at an FBO that taught me that you don't need to spend 10 grand on a PPL and you don't need a glass cockpit to shoot an instrument approach. Plus, at WMU they don't really require you to make your own decisions a lot of the time. I don't know how many times in the winter I got waken up by my phone to hear my instructor say "stay in bed, man, its gonna be nasty!" Okay, thanks for letting me check and call you to discuss our options. Meanwhile its hardly even MVFR outside. My comments are in no way directed toward one person, or for that matter, just WMU. There are also some great folks there.
