Not trying to bash ERA here, but I have been watching ERA for a long time and I don't understand why ERA refuses to pay what other companies in Alaska pay. I was offered a job flying an islander for $55000 first year pay in Alaska. I made $44000 first year pay flying a Cherokee Six with housing provided. When will ERA start matching pay? Can anyone live in ANC for $25000 a year? It appears even the captains make substantially less than other pilots in Alaska. Again, I am not bashing ERA just confused as to the company's thought process. If they start paying, I might be interested. Just my $.02
