Seattle area flying?
#11
Talked to AirPac a month ago... They told me i was overqualified and their flying was nothing like the flying i am used to (furloughed CRJ pilot but 100 hrs in seneca from teaching)
I was going to hold out a bit longer for the furlough but things are not looking that great.. I heard even Aeroflight is fat on pilots..

The only 135 guys I know of that have a base in Seattle and are hiring is AmFlight. I've talked with AeroFlight & AirPac both, neither seem to be in need of pilots right now. Sort of scary when these guys aren't hiring!

Then only thing with Amflight is that BFI is turbine only now. So don't plan on being based there any time soon. Not sure how long the upgrade time is now. My friend in training there said under a year. Good luck!

Single-engine piston is the best powered-flight around...! You're right -- you've been flying jets for far too long

I pretty sure Ameriflight got rid of all their Piper Lances a while ago. But I've been wrong before.
