I keep considering these guys since I've been doing maintenance longer than I've been flying. I'd rather it be flying more than wrenching but I still do both now. Anyone know what's the ratio of maintenance to piloting for this position? And does it pay more if you're doing both jobs? Yes, I've read all the other posts.

Some of their work is seasonal so during the down time you can be wrenching in VA. So yes, you get paid more if you end up on that side of the house.

What do you need to upgrade and what type of guys are being sent over to Afganistan? I'm told this is where the good money is at and after a few deployments of my own to the sandbox in my prior life, I'd do it again to make some decent money as well as PIC turbine.
