Air Wisconsin Taking Apps

One thing I just noticed upon re-reading my rejection notice... It says feel free to re-apply for any open position. I intend to do so every week or so. Couldn't hurt i suppose. Maybe I can annoy them into hiring me. Also I may have secured in internal rec so hopefully that will give me a leg up.

I read the post and got to thinking about something.. they want 1500 hours? When the airlines begin to hire a little bit more, do you think we could see a similar requirement for others, in anticipation of the Part-121 ATP rule? Everyone might start to make that the minimum so you are at least ATP-qualified prior to hire.

I could be wrong, but I don't think you even have to land at a different airport to log ATP XC time- just have flown to a point in space that is more than 50nm from the departure. This way, bomber pilots can take off from and land at the same airport, but log XC time towards the ATP.
Part 135 XC is airport to airport (land at a different airport).
Part 135 XC is airport to airport (land at a different airport).

Last I knew the ATP had no requirement of what XC time actually is. That makes any other destination than the airport of origin a XC. You could log every different airport (A to B--even if it's 2 miles away) as XC. Would it qualify for the next rating you seek? Depends on what that rating/license is. But for the ATP, there is no definition of XC other than to have

Hmmmm, I sent in my info on the 30th as well. Still no word. 3600TT 2700+ turbine multi ATP. I'm in Africa right now, and would gladly go to the bottom at a reagional at this point. Tired of the flys and lack of ATC. Best of luck to everyone still in the run!
