Might want to take another look at that job posting. Even though it is on Mesaba's website, it says Colgan first officer.

As Airsupport pointed out, management is planning on this TA passing and are running this place as if it already has.

I personally believe something drastic would have to happen for this TA not to pass.

No such thing if the TA passes. There is a no furlough clause in one of the LOA's. Nobody additional can be furloughed. So no more chopping block.

I don't get it? What is the difference, Mesaba, Colgan. Won't we all be the same this time next year?

It wont matter. You can either refuse it OR get 200% pay and a comp day.

From what I heard, the 11 days off minimum will not take effect till September if the JCBA passes.

Here's what LOA 2 says:

U. Minimum Days Off

1. Beginning April 1, 2011 and until such time as Pinnacle and Colgan are able to implement the requirement of Section 12.E., a Pinnacle or Colgan Pilot who is awarded one less than the minimum contractual days off in Domicile in a Bid Period shall receive either a Compensatory Day or an additional vacation day, at the Pilot's option, for that Bid Period. In addition, the Pilot shall receive 8 hours of Pay Credit, paid above guarantee.

2. Any Compensatory Day chosen by the Pilot cannot be used until September 2011 or thereafter. If the Pilot informs the Company by the twentieth (20th) of a month that he would like to use a Compensatory Day awarded pursuant to this Section, the Compensatory Day must be provided in that month, unless the Company and the Pilot cannot mutually agree on a date in that month. Any Compensatory Day carried over must be granted in the following month, pursuant to the process set forth in Section 25.L.6.

It basically pushes the company to quickly impliment the 11 days off so they won't have to pay the extra and give a day off.

I expect y'all to get 11 days off around April 1rst (and that's not an April Fools joke)

Sure then they will just juniorman everyone down to 10 without having to give a comp day now.... Any juniorman should have required a comp day like we do now.

That is not true. If you are above min days off and get junior manned they do not have to give you a comp day. That is changing in the next contract if it passes.

Anyone hired after 2/18/11 just goes to the bottom of the SLI list. For seniority purposes it doesnt matter what company they get hired into. If they want to try and fly a jet, go to 9E. If the turbo props suit you, go to 9L or XJ. If someone had a crystal ball, they might be able to tell where the quickest upgrades will be and that could influence your decision because of the freeze's, but I can tell you one thing, you will never upgrade before M.A at 9E. That guy will literally eat pig dung to upgrade.

actually its anyone who was hired after 6/1/10
