UAV Pilot position

You have some pilot experience as Military or civilian, on fixed or rotary wings, you might even be already a UAV operator....

These guys are involved with Fire Scout, which looks like it will be successful on multiple fronts. It's the most developed rotary wing UAV system to date.

Last I heard the Navy was unloading it (minus the one that wandered into DC the other day).

Living in Abu Dhabi AND flying UAV's? Wow. Dosen't get any better than that. [\sarcasm]

My understanding was that the Navy is moving forward. It has deployed operationally on one ship, conducted some real-world ops, and seems to be on track. The navy needs a pioneer replacement and this is the best contender as far as I can see. UAVs are one of the few defense system categories which are not in the budget crosshairs...the current regime loves the idea of remote-control warfare.

The army did lose interest in the project.

They build them down the road from me. They are moving forward from what I hear. I am trying to find one of my local friends (flight schools) to bid the contract for chase plane. They need a 60kt plane to follow them around for the flight test.
