P.S. Not saying you are this type, but save your "crazy aviating stories" for the bar, not the classroom. The instructor will appreciate this since you will always have the one guy in class talking big stories of how he flew an "ILS down to mins upside down, with one wing broken off, blind folded, during a microburst."

Don't be that guy. (Tim Martins)

Ya because my $17,500 last year and $23,500 this year flying jumpers and managing the dropzone have been so awesome (that includes the cash I got for packing parachutes as well). FYI I live @ my own house w my gf (rent), and we eat normal food. We both have post 2000 cars, and I have my entire debt under 2k. That song and dance doesn't work for me. She also isn't a sugar momma, she makes about the same as me now. It was just responsible spending, and scholorships that got me here. I also learned to fly in a C150 before fuel spiked and mowed the lawn at the airport for savings. So my Dads 1/4 share in a 150 in which he CFId went a long long way. It also burned car gas. I am not trying to brag but the ramen/poor thing wont work for me. This is a raise.

You need to check your attitude at the door.

I just am sick of being told to be prepared to eat ramen, or be poor. I have lived for 2 years on under 25k/year, this is going to be a raise. Its basically coming from everyone who is mad they have been a regional FO since 2007/2008, how about those of us who have been at sub regional jobs since then. Coming to the regionals is going to be a pay raise for us.

Point is, youve got a weird attitude and you need to be careful. Continue with the way you are, and you will find yourself with more enemies than friends. Take things in stride and with a grain of salt. There are always those people out there trying to put down the things you find great in this world. You can't take everything personally

Mad? I do ok as a line holding FO at Eagle +50K.

You are looking at about $1200-$1600 take home pay. After you take out D2 fees and a crash pad you are now looking at $900-$1,300.

PS- I came to Eagle thinking I was going to have a 7-8 yr upgrade.
