[QUOTE=Flyby1206;937212]Congrats! Take notes on what gets offered on Day 1 for newhire

Does AE assign slots or do you you pick your equipment and base in seniority order in your class? If they assign you ORD Emb could you switch with an ATR MiA guy in your class, im sure someone would rather have a jet.

Seniority is assigned in your class by age, the older person picks first. They will list what equipment and basses are available and then everyone gets to bid. Jets go senior, sometime ATR spots go in the middle of the pack but for the most part ATR goes junior. Any questions send me PM!

I want NY, has nothing to do with the jet part, not sure how I will make out being 24, lately it sounds like I might actually be middle of the road age wise :O!!!

What I've seen is that if the class is big, normally "always" they have like from 4 to 6 ATRs, so if the class is 15 people, your chance is low.

But if is a big class (22 or more), normally you'll be able to have more chance. I'm 23 almost 24, in my class I was almost at the end and I still had to choose.

Don't worry, you'll be fine.

Also, with the down at minimums for sure will be a down in age too. I got 800hrs when I was 21 to 22yrs old, so I think we will start seeing 21yrs old guys over there.

I don't remember if they have 21yrs old as a requisite.

This is a random question:

What is Eagle's policy on facial hair? My current company (135 on demand Beechjet) allows mustaches and goatees as long as they are "short (no longer than #2 setting on a trimmer) and well groomed." Is Eagle's policy similar?

Got the call today, assuming all goes well with the medical next week I'll be there on the 14th. I was originally supposed to interview on the 3rd but had to reschedule for the 13th, so 1 month from interview to class. It helped that they only had to get paperwork from my current employer and it was faxed back in before I left the building.

I going to bid EMJ, trying to choose between DFW and ORD.
