1400 applicants for 14 slots. Super tough

Wow ^1400? I figured about 4-500.

Well that's what happens when people start telling everyone that the window is open again. Even the ones applying are telling people?!?! I know it's good to look out for your fellow pilots but when they could be the one to get the job and not you its better to keep the yap shut until after the app window closes. Plus, you have to think about all the regional pilots clawing and scratching to get to bigger and better things. Just makes the competition much harder. Idk just my two cents!!

Invites are going out. Gotta pick a day in Oct.

Be prepared to take a B717 FO inter island for 3 year seat lock. I hope you can afford to live in Hawaii. Be careful for what you apply for !

If you didn't get an email to come in, your SOL for this window. Apparently ALL invites for the 14 hires have gone out.

So are you saying they are having one interview group and they decided they are going to pick all 14 new hires from that group?
That is very different from what they did in the last window. They had several interview groups and people were picked for classes from the different groups.

all I am saying, and I got this 1st hand from a hiring manager is anyone who is going to be interviewed from this window has ALREADY been called/emailed.

2 year* seat lock. But yes, you'll most likely have to rough-it in Hawaii for a few years.. Weird, I know, for an airline named Hawaiian.. :rolleyes:

But you are right - don't come to Hawaiian if you are not OK with the thought of living in Hawaii.
