Either way, that is not being laid back, it's wasting other peoples time. Especially those who made the effort only to have it wasted by you...

And for an airline who has led on time performance for 10 straight years, it appears our airline has done a good job of hiring. Because it appears we don't hire guys like you who show up late..

Uhhh.... I never said HA was a joke. Not sure where you got that. And the previous post about being late to the van, etc. was meant to be humorous....think SoCal surfer dude taking "laid back" to the extreme so to speak. Obviously tone of voice doesn't transmit. Oh well, flame away. I know what kind of person I am to fly with, based on what my FO's and FA's tell me. Yes, once in a while I probably get on someone's nerves, but for the most part I'm pretty laid back and go out of my way to foster good working relationships and make the 3-4 days away from as fun as it can be for my crews.

That would be the post you deleted referencing a few accidental emails being sent... "Joke of an operation" were pretty close to your words....

It's all good, there are those who want to be here, and those who are already here.... I fall in the latter category.. So I really couldn't care less how laid back or late any one is to the van... Or how awesome someone might be to fly with... By the time I've left the airplane I've already forgotten the last 2-3 days no matter how awesome they were.

KingAir, I'm sorry, but that was not me. I think you have me mistaken. I have never deleted a post. I really want to work at HA. I was emailed three rules in 2012 to set up an interview, but I had to turn all three invites down because of the death of my father-in-law after a long battle with cancer and the death of my wife's grandmother a month prior to her dad passing. Respectfully, I think you have me confused with another person's postings.

Please accept my apology.... I got a tad bit offended when someone,who doesn't work here, called it a joke of an operation, and I jumped the gun when I thought it was you. Too many posts in the last few days to keep track of who said what.... Since I thought it was you I went back a few pages looking for your post, and since it wasn't you who said it I thought you had deleted it.

Not a joke of an operation, just a joke of a hiring process.

Well that's true of just about 9/10 airlines.
