To be fair I was only coming up with that figure based on monthly guarantee. 94hr line seems like some extra flying. Hey they have overtime at Mcdonalds too. Supply and demand will take care of the problem. When you have to have 1500 hrs to work there and all the 65 year olds start retiring the pilot pool will dry up.

I've been waiting for this dream of mine to come true for a few years now. I would like to see the worst of the airlines suffer and be gone from the scene when this happens. To be clear, I'm not wishing that anyone lose their jobs, but that they all pretty much leave voluntarily and simultaneously for better jobs. I can dream, right? What's with this wet-spot in the bed?
The 1,500 hrs rule, no MPL and scope should be the highest priorities for all pilots right now. After years of low pay and dirt treatment, some airlines have made their bed of rocks and truly hope that they are made to lay in it. We should do all that we can to make sure the airlines don't find some way around these three priorities; let the supply and demand theory work in our favor for once.
