Wow, that is a huge raise from my first year (1997) with Bex/AE which not including per diem was 16500. But to be fair my second year I made 18000.

Nope we have many lines that are built 89-98hr lines since I've been here, and I haven't picked up squat. There's lines built from 75hrs-89hrs. It all depends how much you want to work.

I've been waiting for this dream of mine to come true for a few years now. I would like to see the worst of the airlines suffer and be gone from the scene when this happens. To be clear, I'm not wishing that anyone lose their jobs, but that they all pretty much leave voluntarily and simultaneously for better jobs. I can dream, right? What's with this wet-spot in the bed?

The 1,500 hrs rule, no MPL and scope should be the highest priorities for all pilots right now. After years of low pay and dirt treatment, some airlines have made their bed of rocks and truly hope that they are made to lay in it. We should do all that we can to make sure the airlines don't find some way around these three priorities; let the supply and demand theory work in our favor for once.
