Read above email. With all the Saab bases closing those guys will take the jets to stay in their bases

not sure...colgan is suppose to have a class on aug. 29th...I asked what equipment and she said she didn't know, then I asked: its probably the Saab based on what I hear from friends, she responds...actually it might be the Q from what I heard....so knows knows

but still I think it will be the saab

I guarantee it isn't the Q400.... there's too many saab guys with standing bids into the Q...

And we're crazy well staffed in the Q right now. No open time anywhere. I've flown two legs in the last three weeks on reserve. I would imagine my class in April was the last new hire Q class until if and when we exercise the next 15 options.

We're still short on the Saab, and we finally have guys getting to the line from classes started months ago. The more senior Saab guys aren't too eager to move to the right seat of the Q, with the protected upgrade spots still dangling on a string in front of our noses. A few have but most are staying put and hoping to see an upgrade into the Saab or the Q.

I'm not sure how the rest of the company will bid, at least from the FO side.
