Any Pinnacle New Hires
#14
Rumor was starting in Oct they are going to put 45 new hire FOs and 15 Ca Upgrades through the schoolhouse per month, for the foreseeable future. As long as they have the instructors for it...All new hires are going 200 in DTW or JFK.

Think there's any chance for a guy with 410/85 with 75 of the ME in a King Air 200? I also have a SIC Citation course completed in the past 6 months...
I'm not affiliated with any of their colleges that they do preferential hiring from, however.

are you PIC in the KA200? and if you aren't, how are you logging it? do you have a CE500 SIC type? (if it exists knowing that its a single pilot operated aircraft)
my suggestion; keep building time, you're 100 hours and change out of the training environment, gets some GOOD experience instructing, or building more time somewhere...possibly the 135 world,
either way the only way to tell if they'll bite is to apply...

For the CE500, the aircraft was certified with two pilots required but you can get a single pilot waiver if you pass the two checkrides. Most are crewed by two pilots. I do not have a SIC type, just an endorsement but I went through the 2 week initial course at a pretty large training company, paid for by my current employer of course.
I'm trying to build my time as best as I can, but flying the KA is pretty much it for me right now. I can't really move to get time as I'm happy where I'm working now (aviation related field) but I'm looking for full time flying gig. Both flying the KA and my other job are part time. There are no flight schools around me that I can CFI at (I have my CFI/II/MEI) to build time. There is a banner towing op, but they're a very shady operation.

Here is an email i received from a recruiter recently. Thought I would pass it along.
Good afternoon-
As I stated in a previous email, we are revamping our interview process and moving to a more corporate interview process to cover all three airlines (Pinnacle, Mesaba, & Colgan). Because of our recent ISL (Integrated Seniority List) and the way our pilot vacancies work, the majority of our future hiring will be for the Saab. This is not to say that we are ONLY hiring into the Saab, it is just a good possibility that new-hires will be flying the Saab. I just wanted to let you know before we move forward with the process.
With all of this being said, I have forwarded your information to our corporate hiring department and you should be contacted very soon. We appreciate you taking the time to complete the application and thank you for applying with us.
