Interviewed on Jan 28th, 1130 time slot , still waiting on class date info as well.

And I have a buddy who interviewed on the 10th who is still waiting for a class.

With the Feb 13th class only having 13 people in it, kinda tells me it may be a while .... Unless they change how large the classes are for the future...

Just because you have 3000 apps doesn't mean you won't hire 200 pilots that immediately try to leave after improving their resumes.

Yet, plenty of supply.... I am sure there is more than enough that will work for less..... JB management runs the numbers....

When I was interviewing, they asked about a mid-March class and if I could make it if offered, but I have obviously not heard anything like that since.

If you've got a decent chunk of experience on the 737, I think that might score pretty well. I think there have been guys in every class that don't have TPIC. They're in the minority, but it's not a deal breaker.

As for the rec letters, I don't think anyone really knows the magic formula. From what I've heard, they don't do much to get you the interview, but they score you points once you're there. However, I think the truth is closer to a magical island shrouded in clouds....

Would an internal rec help get an interview? I got the email from JB that I forwarded to my internal rec. he did what he is suppose to, now I just have to wait.

Internal recs do not help until after you interview. They go into consideration for phase II from everything that I have heard.

The number one way to get an interview is to know someone or know someone who knows someone. It is simply a matter of the folks that pull resumes pulling your name. I suppose if you somehow had any connection in any way to one of those folks you'd be set.
