Be like a politician. They seem to be pros when it comes to answering difficult questions....they answer something that wasn't even asked but they have good taking points on and by the time they finish talking, everyone seems to have forgotten the original question and is impressed with the response.
Applicant: I did not have sexual relations with that woman.
I'm just kidding DFW. He's actually right. It can be very difficult to take a questions like that and spin them into a positive light, but those are the questions that can show underlying personality flaws.

I flew for a wet-lease operator contracting out to regionals in Europe (Fokker 50 and Dash-8) and listed it on my resume as it was, 3500hr Turbine, 1600hr Turbine PIC. Did not have any issues applying in the US.

JSF, I realize this whole process is frustrating, but hang tough. It took me four years of applying before I got my first interview. Barring anything weird, the majors will be hiring quite a few pilots in the next decade. Stay positive, be yourself, and be honest. You'll get a gig that suits you.
