It always cracks me up when people ask about a schedule at on-demand companies. There is none. 121 they have 1 hard day off because they have to. 135 the schedule is when the pager goes off it's time to come to work.
Curious why it "Cracks" you up about on-demand schedule. For you info some company's do have "Hard Days Off". Like USA Jet (for sure), Ameristar (Used to at one time, not sure now) Kalitta Charters 2 on 1 off.
Maybe when you get off you high horsey of Captaining C-310/401 you will understand.....
Till then fly safe.....

Hey if you want to call hard days off, that you may have to spend traveling to or from where ever your at a schedule go ahead. But as far as a real schedule there is none. BTW It's not like I'm new to this buisness, I've been working in it for 10 years. What equipment you fly has no bearing on your comprehension of the QOL or lack there of in On-demand freight. I fly 310's because I choose to. Now if you where to ask me about the QOL at a corporate outfit or airline I would have to honestly say I don't know, but I'm sure it will generally be better than on-demand freight. The only reason USA Jet has what they have is because they threatened to bring in a union a few years back.

I got a shorts job with maybe ~30 hours of multi, and there are a number of RJ outfits now that will hire at those hours. I do not know IFL and I am not telling you not to work there, but don't just look in one place. I will add that I have met some cool IFL pilots while on the road, mainly in MQY, and flying those 5800s would be AWESOME! Those guys are real pilots
