Mainline flight depts go to find interns. Delta has historically been strict about not accepting resumes. United will take your resume but it's not geared for that sorta event. I've heard different things about what they can do with the resumes over the years. American hasn't been sending any people that can help a pilot resume. JetBlue has been hit or miss about taking your resume. They're there to promote internships and the Gateway programs.
If you're thinking about making the trip just for this event, I would reconsider. If you happen to be in the area, it may not hurt.
