And actually, I Didn't say much of anything about it, simply posted an URL to a nearly twenty year old article in the Seattle Times business pages.
Obviously history wasn't one of your major interests in school. Perhaps you have heard of this quote:
"Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Those who do not remember their past are condemned to repeat their mistakes. Those who do not read history are doomed to repeat it. Those who fail to learn from the mistakes of their predecessors are destined to repeat them."
- George Santayana
But please, feel free to not read any of my postings you don't care to read. You too Word302.

Was on Horizon with a bunch of military pilots going to survival training in Spokane. We probably would have been arrested nowadays for the food fight we caused. The Horizon Captain took pictures with us after we landed.

Ah yes. 3636 Combat Crew Training Wing. I knew something was wrong when the SRO in the class was a mere 1Lt, with only a few more months in than I had. More senior people knew better than to go through in January. Froze my butt off up in the training area by the Canadian border. Good times. But only in retrospect.

I thought that was an interesting read and a surprisingly long article. I don't think excargodog was implying anything. It was interesting to read about how we got a union and how pilots used to be salaried and how pilots avoided crew scheduling in times of landline phones
