I just feel like this has drifted from my original question (What is FlightPath II?).
We now seem to be answering a different set of questions:
How can things suck more?
WHY is FlightPath II?
...but by all means...drift. I'm just happy to be here.

I vaguely remember Flightpath I. It basically consists of a bunch of mid-level managers talking about fleet plans, financial metrics (i.e., we need to get our costs down), fuel hedging, possible new markets, etc. That's just the semi-interesting stuff. I may have dozed off during part of the meeting. I was annoyed when the "hall monitor" busted me for looking up something on my iPad.
Why is Flightpath? The usual answer: To lower employee expectations. Another possible answer: To demonstrate "employee engagement". Yes, our mid-level managers actually get graded on that stuff.
The whole thing is a colossal waste of time. The original Flightpath supposedly cost over $1000 per person. Can't we just take the money?

Apparently this time time around, its more focused on company "culture" instead of operational stuff like flightpath I. To me it sounds like a continuation of QX factor, except its for all of AAG.
Total waste of time and money for flight crew. Inflight, customer service, etc... I can understand to a degree.
Im bidding to go just to waste time. 5 hours of credit to do no work is fine with me

They don't give a crap about us or how we fit into the plan, they just want us to be quiet and stop posting snarky comments on the company website.

One of the flight attendants on my most recent trip went to Flight Path in November. She reported that (1) it was a total waste of time, (2) they didn't say anything much about Horizon, and (3) the food wasn't very good. The last one is a deal-breaker for me.
