No I know. I’m talking about the one the OP saw the other day. They said they saw it over Redbluff and that it was going to Redmond. I’ve never heard of a Q route from California to Redmond.
I bet the OP got confused, seeing a Q from RNO or something, passed it, then shortly after landing in RDM one of our PDX or SEA flights showed up. Meanwhile the one he saw continued on to PDX or SEA.

The other day we were doing an SFO-RDM leg in the Can't Really Jet, up at FL310. Around RBL I noticed traffic at our 3 o'clock, down around FL240. Soon I realized he was paralleling our course exactly, and matching our speed. Then we figured out (since we were both on the same frequency) that the traffic was one of your Q400s, also going into RDM.
For a good 100 miles that Q stayed right with us, even at M.74. I had no idea that bird could hustle so fast! Only when we pushed it up to .79 in the descent did we pull ahead. What do you guys usually cruise at?

No, it was a Q400 route. If I recall correctly, this was the same general time period when Horizon operated “Frontier Jet Express”, which consisted of about half of our CRJ-700 fleet being based in Denver and doing turns for Frontier Airlines. The Q, due to its fuel efficiency, was used on a lot of longer routes.
I miss the days of LTO...that was a long ass flight, but with the fresh ceviche from the terminal, it made it so worth it. Only flight I've used "Pan, pan, pan" on was LTO-LAX, with an overflowing lav.
We also did flights like SMF-PSP, which I can say I wasn't a huge fan of...of IDA-SEA, which could be a long flight (I seem to recall a day where it was nearly 3hrs block).

You can’t even really get any slower then .77 in the high 30’s in the 900.

If it’s not yet, it will soon. Back in March, we were doing PHX-MFR-LAX-I forget where. On the leg to LAX, we had a mainline AA guy going to work. He mentioned this was one of his last nonstop commute options since AA was stopping flights to LAS (this was a planned reduction prior to any Covid stuff). We hadn’t heard anything of that nature, and I didn’t really think much of it. Fast forward to this summer. As AA flying picked up, we started going back to Oregon a lot. But instead of getting a mix of flow through LAX, it’s been a bunch of Oregon overnights. I missed the variety of the California flying, so I asked one of the envoy rampers if they knew when the LAX flights would come back. This was either RDM or MFR, I forget which since I seem to be at both almost weekly. He says they won’t be coming back. The plan is to connect Oregon to LAX via Alaska via codeshare, so the logical assumption I made was E175. I assumed on QX, but who knows.
