If it’s not yet, it will soon. Back in March, we were doing PHX-MFR-LAX-I forget where. On the leg to LAX, we had a mainline AA guy going to work. He mentioned this was one of his last nonstop commute options since AA was stopping flights to LAS (this was a planned reduction prior to any Covid stuff). We hadn’t heard anything of that nature, and I didn’t really think much of it. Fast forward to this summer. As AA flying picked up, we started going back to Oregon a lot. But instead of getting a mix of flow through LAX, it’s been a bunch of Oregon overnights. I missed the variety of the California flying, so I asked one of the envoy rampers if they knew when the LAX flights would come back. This was either RDM or MFR, I forget which since I seem to be at both almost weekly. He says they won’t be coming back. The plan is to connect Oregon to LAX via Alaska via codeshare, so the logical assumption I made was E175. I assumed on QX, but who knows.
